In Latin America we find Brazil, Colombia and Peru as the principal coffee producing countries. Brazil produces more coffee than any other country, and has been among the largest coffee producing countries.

Huila, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Risaralda, Santander, Tolima

Common Varieties: Bourbon, Castillo, Catimor,
Caturra, Colombia, Typica

Process: Washed, Natural, Honey

Grading: Excelso 15, Excelso 16, Supremo 17,
Supremo 18, Supremo 19

Harvest Period: March–June & September–December

PERU

Regions: Villa Rica, Pura, Amazonas, Ayacucho,
Huánaco, Junin

Common Varieties: Bourbon, Typica, Catuai, Caturra,
Mundo Novo, Pache

Process: Washed

Grading: HB (Hard Bean, 1200–1350 masl),
SHB (Strictly Hard Bean, 1350+ masl)

Harvest Period: June–September
